We are thrilled at the prospect of sharing the coming ten days with all of you. We have many remarkable experiences ahead of us and I am reaching out to encourage everybody to be prepared to make the most of this ten-day leadership intensive.

There are three dates that we want you to be aware of.

Monday 07/06/15

Our first day will be an extended day. Students will travel to Marin County and explore Tomales Bay by kayak. Students need to wear footwear they are comfortable getting wet and muddy. We will depart from Matter of Trust at 8:30 AM and will return to Matter of Trust between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM.

Thursday 07/09/15

Our fourth day will be an extended day as well. We will depart from Matter of Trust at 8:30 AM and will return to Matter of Trust between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. We will be working with the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network in Marin County completing habitat restorations, species identification and native plant propagations. We will also meet with the community coordinators at Good Earth to learn about the best ways to live sustainably.

Friday 07/17/15

2:30 PM to 4:30 PM - Our tenth and final day is the LEAF 2015 closing celebration. Students will share their project work and hopes for the future with friends, family and community members. All family, friends and community members are welcome to come talk with our young leaders, hear their stories, learn how to live sustainably, and enjoy the delicious foods students will prepare and share.
